Thanks so much to everyone who ordered the Easter bouquets. It was the first mixed stem bouquet I offered here but certainly not the last. I enjoy bringing you unusual rose varieties, but love putting my creative spin on designing bouquets. It's something I have to build up to here since I'm doing something very different. After Valentine's day I quickly realized I was going to need a little bit more room for the Flowergoodies studio. I ordered a couple more small merchandisers and we moved the studio aroud a bit. The merchandisers give me versatility in the space and beyond should I ever get back to doing any shows or pop ups again in the future. I love the vertical system visually, and in the interest of limited space they work great. I can even roll them, which makes a trip to the sink a breeze. city sanctuary, compost, gardening -

During flower processing, leaves get stripped, stems cut, and guard petals on roses get removed.  Instead of throwing them in the trash, I drop them in a bucket as I go. We then compost the flower waste along with our veggie scraps and coffee grounds.  We'll use this fresh mix in our gardens. I'm not sure you can get anymore DIY than making your own dirt. 😆 We lovingly call our gardens #007acrefarms, and you can find and follow that hashtag on instagram. WOW, our first Valentine's day was a nail biter with a side of floral whiplash. The shipping delays had me wondering if the roses would even arrive, but they did, and it was awesome! After they were released for purchase the stunning pink variety literally sold out in 10 minutes! How incredible! And, the second variety was down to one bouquet in 35 min and gone within the hour. Our most delayed shipment arrived so late I didn't know what to expect, and we ended up having only one bouquet left. I'll take that as a big win after the super...
