Fun Fact: Composting

During flower processing, leaves get stripped, stems cut, and guard petals on roses get removed. 

Instead of throwing them in the trash, I drop them in a bucket as I go. We then compost the flower waste along with our veggie scraps and coffee grounds.  We'll use this fresh mix in our gardens. I'm not sure you can get anymore DIY than making your own dirt. 😆
